Victory Gem Tokens can be earned by playing premium matches in the game. Once the Victory Gem Tokens are earned, players can claim them to their wallet. Higher Tiers of play award greater rewards per placement. Acquiring Victory Gems involves claiming gVTG on nWayPlay ([additional details below](#claim)) through a regulated process. ## Usage ### Spend #### gVTG Once gVTGs are earned, players can choose to spend them on Game NFT Boxes on nWayPlay containing Olympic Digital NFT Pins, or use them to claim Victory Gem ($VTG) tokens in their wallets as actual on-chain tokens. Both of these actions require a players create and link their nWayPlay account to their Olympic Games Jam: Beijing 2022 account through the game Settings. #### Victory Gem tokens Victory Gem Tokens can be used to purchase Olympic Digital NFT Pins listed within the **nWayPlay marketplace**, and can also be exchanged on various DEXs. ### Claim Players can claim Victory Gem tokens ($VTG) from gVTGs earned in the game. \ \ Claiming the VTG from gVTG requires nWayPlay account. Players can create their nWayPlay account at nWayPlay.com. Once created they can link the account to the game by going into the settings menu in the game. Once the nWayPlay account has been linked to the game, the player will be able to see his or her gVTGs earned in the game that are claimable in the My Wallet function of the nWayPlay.com website. The gVTGs earned in the game become claimable upon meeting a set of criteria (detailed below) and the player can use the claim button on the My Wallet function in order to obtain the VTGs. The claim button will also prompt the player to connect their external wallet to the nWayPlay account. Once this is done the players will have both custodial and non-custodial (external) wallets tied to the nWayPlay account and will be free to earn and claim various types of currencies and tokens. **Transaction Fee** The transaction ratio between gVTG and VTG will be 1:100. This means that 100 gVTG is equal to 1 VTG token in principle. Equipping NFTs in the Collection **Accumulation Over Time** All players will naturally generate tickets over time, at a rate of 1 ticket per 6 minutes. Generation is active while the count of tickets in a player’s Game Ticket stash is under 50. Tickets generated via this method go into a player’s Game Ticket stash. **Rewards from FREE Matches** Players can play in FREE Matches that award tickets as a means to acquire more tickets. Tickets won in this manner will enter a player’s Game Ticket stash. There is Global Pool that controls how many tickets can be earned through FREE Matches in a given period of time (12 hours). After the pool is exhausted, players can still continue to play, but will not be awarded any tickets until the Global Pool refreshes. **Equipping NFTs in the Collection** Each pin in a player’s collection has a ticket capacity and a ticket generation rate. Repeat steps 5-9 # Tokenomics ## Victory Gem (VTG) The native cryptographically-secure transferrable token of Olympic Games Jam, Victory Gems (ticker symbol $VTG) has certain utility functions within Olympic Games Jam, and which is designed to be used solely as an interoperable utility token thereon. $VTG issued as BEP-20 compatible tokens on the Binance Smart Chain, with the goal of providing incentives to the players to participate and compete in the game in new and exciting ways. The rewards mechanism have three main goals: * To reward players to participate, compete, and perform in the premium matches of the game where it requires tickets to participate. * To provide incentive for players to hold on to the Olympic NFT pins. The pins when equipped in the game outputs tickets that allow players to participate in the premium matches. * To allow players to participate in the ownership of Olympic NFT pins. Players are able to use Victory Gems to obtain NFT pins that will provide opportunity for the players to participate in bigger premium matches, and also gain access to various skins and items that make the game more enjoyable. We want Olympic Games Jam to be one of the first P2E games to be backed by a major, global IP, that is easily accessible (mobile, PC, no external wallet required), and enjoyed by both casual players and community of NFT pin owners.
